Sidine and I saw Wednesday 13 at the Muse, in Nashville TN on July 11th, 2008. It was a long, hot night but the it was definitely worth the wait. Wednesday 13 has a great stage presence. Frontman Wednesday 13 did an excellent job at pumping the crowd up, even though many of them had been in the small venue for hours, in the heat.
Wednesday 13 sounds very similar to the way they sound on CD, which is something a lot of bands just can't pull off. Everything about the show was great, from the band's pitch-black entrance to Wednesday 13 coming back on stage for the encore to the Imperial Death March. The band played a lot of great songs from different CDs from Transylvania 90210 to Skeletons and Bloodlines songs.
Wednesday 13's vocals were great. Bassist Nate Manor and guitarist J-Sin Trioxin played flawlessly throughout the show, while drummer, Jonny Chops worked his ass off at the drums.
Wednesday 13 is currently on tour on many smaller venues in the US and Europe. If you get a chance to go to the show, it is definitely worth the ticket price. You can get a list of the tour dates off of their myspace page here.
