Road to Rock on the Range

by Shane on May.20, 2010, under Concert News, Rock on the Range, The-Voices.net

Rock on the Range is this weekend.

All I can say is that this is going to be huge, we have lots of music from many different genres. If you can only make it to one festival this year, rock on the range should be it.

We have a lot of interviews coming up this weekend, so if you have any questions you want us to throw in, you still have time. Hopefully we will see you guys there in Columbus.

Oh yeah, since this is an outdoor even, I thought I’d share the weather with you guys.

BTW I am no weather man, so I could have this stuff totally wrong, so don’t take this as fact.

Saturday: High 74/Low 59.
It’s almost guaranteed to rain in the morning, so be ready for a lot of mud on the Jaeger stage area if it is set up like it is last year, and the parkinglot is going to be muddy as hell. So make sure you aren’t wearing your good shoes. The chances of rain decrease a lot around 11am, but it looks like we may have some scattered t.showers throughout the day. So bring you a disposable poncho. Hopefully the rain will not be bad enough to interfere with any of the performances.

Sunday: High 79/Low 58
Looks like Sunday is going to be pretty dry. If any performances have to be canceled on Saturday maybe they can do makeup shows on Sunday. The weather is going to be nice, so enjoy it.

Today’s show was amazing. Unfortunately I had to bail a little early today, the sun started having some nasty effects on me. But I’m going to drink a ton of water and be there in the morning.

On that note, guys stay safe during the festival. Don’t overdo it on the alcohol, and drink some water too. We saw one person carried away on a stretcher and I would hate to see that happen to anyone else.

But, I love the comments during the show from the Rangers in the field, keep ‘em coming.

We made it back from RotR 2010 a little sunburnt, but otherwise we are fine. We have a ton of great content to add to the site as soon as we get it over with. I should have the photo gallery back online this week with RotR photos for everyone to enjoy.

It was great seeing everyone at the show, and I hope you guys can make it back next year. We will do our best to be there too.
