The annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival returns August 26 through October 15 to conquer North America with a massive active rock lineup. Leading the charge is multi-platinum headliner Avenged Sevenfold, making their triumphant return after co-headlining the 2010 debut Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival.

Three Days Grace, Seether and Bullet For My Valentine, along with Escape The Fate will also be featured on this year’s main stage. The touring music and lifestyle festival–which Revolver called “one of the most electric tours of the year” in 2010–also includes the Best Buy Music Gear Stage headliners Sevendust, as well as Black Tide, Art Of Dying and The Black Cloud Collective.

“When we started hearing from our fans they wanted to see us back on UPROAR this year, we thought, last year was a blast so let’s do it again. The fans are crazy and the bands kick ass,” says Avenged Sevenfold‘s frontman M. Shadows. “We’re spending the first half of summer playing some big European festivals so we’re going to be ready to get back home and play America’s top rock festival.”

“We’re thrilled to have Avenged Sevenfold back as headliners,” adds tour producers John Reese and John Oakes. “Their epic stage show helped elevate UPROAR 2010 far beyond the standard outdoor festival. The fans wanted more, and we listened.”

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will entertain fans with a full afternoon and evening of great rock bands and will also include a concourse midway featuring band autograph signings, vendors and other activities. The festival is being produced by John Reese, John Oakes and CAA in conjunction with Live Nation. Look for tour dates, cities and venues to be announced in the coming weeks and go to www.RockstarUproar.com and www.LiveNation.com for the most up-to-date information on the tour.

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival is proud to continue their alliance with Child Find of America, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and resolution of child abduction. In addition, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival has joined forces with the Road 2 Recovery Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing AMA licensed professional motocross and supercross riders with financial assistance if they sustain career-ending injuries. The organization also provides motivational, emotional and spiritual support to these individuals and their families.

A portion of the proceeds of each Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival ticket sold will benefit Child Find of America and the Road 2 Recovery Foundation. More information on Child Find of America and the Road 2 Recovery Foundation can be found at www.RockstarUPROAR.com/causes.
“We’re excited to work with the Road 2 Recovery Foundation, since so many of the UPROAR crew are fans of Motocross or just love to ride,” says Mike Kelso, Marketing Director for Rockstar Energy Drink.

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival is made possible through the support of sponsors including Rockstar Energy Drink, Best Buy Music Gear, Ernie Ball, Guitar Player Magazine, Schechter Guitars, Jägermeister Canada, KICKER Performance Audio, Zippo, Vertical-Xtreme, Fearless Music, NoCover.com and No Cover Event Guide, and others.

Festivals

by Shane on Jul.22, 2010, under Avenged Seven Fold, Band News, Concert Dates, Concert News, Mayhem Fest, The-Voices.net

We are hitting up the following festivals this summer. If you’ve been to any of them, let us know how you like ‘em, and if you are going let us know.

We always accept free drinks

July 23, 2010 – Carnival of Madness (Shinedown, 10 Years, Sevendust, and more), Knoxville, TN
August 1st, 2010 – Mayhem Festival (KoRn, FFDP, Hatebreed, 3 Inches of Blood, and many more) Atlanta, GA
September 3, 2010 – Uproar Festival (Halestorm, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Hellyeah, Avenged Sevenfold, Airbourne, and more).

These three festivals are going to be absolutely insane. They all have their own amazing lineups and genres. If you can catch all 3 tours, I suggest doing it. But if you have to choose just one, Mayhem Fest is your in your face metal, Carnival of Madness is your alternative rock, and Uproar is a little in between. Like I said, all three tours are going to be amazing, and you’re missing out if you miss any of them. Hopefully we will see you guys there.

07.24.10 Update – just got back from the Carnival of Madness, and the event lived up to the name, and then some. For those of you I met in Knoxville, it was awesome meeting some other fans, photographers, and everyone else. I’ll have photos and reviews up this weekend. It was totally worth the three and a half hours of driving on three hours of sleep to see those five absolutely fantastic bands. If you can’t tell, the review is going to be somewhat positive.

Oh and to the chick I bumped into and almost knocked down the stairs, I’m sorry for running into you, it was an accident.
