The rumors for the two biggest events of the year, Rock on the Range and Mayhem Fest are starting to get around. One of the rumors that I hope is true is that Stone Sour will be performing at Rock on the Range this year, and that it will be their first performance of the year after their recording for their new album is complete. With this, I’m assuming that they will be performing some of their new stuff. Another rumor I’ve picked up is that Sevendust will be there too. These rumors added to the blast we had last year at RotR has me extremely excited. I hope to see you guys there this year.

On top of the RotR news, we have some official news from Mayhem Fest. So far the confirmed lineup is:
Main Stage -Korn, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch
Mayhem Festival Stage – Atreyu, Norma Jean, In This Moment, 3 Inches of Blood
Jaegermeister Stage – Hatebreed, Chimaira, Shadows Fall, Winds of Plague

This year’s lineup so far is just amazing. Even though Korn has been hit or miss for me performance wise, their outdoor shows have always been killer. I’m also stoked to see that Five Finger Death Punch is finally on the main stage this year. They always have put on one hell of a show, and I can’t wait to see them at Mayhem again.
