Feedback

Since people have been using this thread for site feedback for some time, I thought I’d officially make it for that purpose.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, bugs, etc post them here and we will get check them out. Outside of music, nothing pleases us more than hearing feedback from our visitors.

So don’t be shy, speak your mind. If you think we rock, tell us, if you think we suck, tell us. And if you think we are a bunch of corporate sellouts, well you can tell us that too.

BTW we don’t edit what people say, but we will remove links if we feel that they are inappropriate.

Tila Tequila’s assault caused by her own stupidity

As I’m sure many of you are aware, Tila Tequila had rocks, shit, piss, and bottles thrown at her at the Juggalo Fest.

First, what the fuck was she thinking accepting the gig like this in the first place. This is the Juggalo Fest, common sense dictates that if your “music”, if you want to call what she does that, does not fit in with the rest of the lineup, then you shouldn’t be there in the first place.

Second, apparently she was warned that the crowd didn’t like her, and that she shouldn’t get on stage to begin with.

Third, as soon as they started pelting the stage with shit, piss, rocks, and bottles, she should have gotten the message, but like a moron, she “stands her ground” and tells the crowd that she isn’t going anywhere. While this might be an admirable attribute if she was in combat and saving lives, she was doing something absolutely stupid. Not only was she putting her own health at risk, but those of the guards trying to keep her safe.

Apparently, even ICP is appalled by this incident. Music is music, don’t read into it by doing shit like this.

So now Tequila is saying she is going to sue for this incident. As disgusted as I am by this attack on her, I hope she doesn’t get a penny because she should have gotten off stage instead of continuing on, apparently even stripping down to try to appease a crowd that hates her. She needs some psychiatric help if she thinks that going topless is going to fix all of her problems.

So in this writer’s humble opinion, Tila Tequila is one of the stupidest “performers” that I have seen in my entire life. Hopefully she’ll learn from this incident, but that may be reaching.

BE ADVISED: RUMORED LAMB OF GOD SHOW IN TEMPE, AZ IS FALSE

LAMB OF GOD would like to officially denounce any buzz of a show that they have been rumored to be playing in the near future. The band will not be performing in Tempe, AZ at said show. The event is a religious play being performed in Tempe, and is NOT related to the band LAMB OF GOD at all, whatsoever.

Mayhem Fest, Sunday

We will be in Atlanta, GA, to cover Mayhem Fest 2010 this Sunday.

This is going to be an amazing show, we hope to see a lot of you there. Remember to check the posting about the upcoming interviews, and if there are any questions that you want us to ask the bands, then we will see what we can do about getting them in.

The weather shows a slight chance of rain, but what’s new for Mayhem Fest? Maybe if it does rain a bit it’ll keep people from dying of heat stroke or something this year. Enjoy the tour, from everything I’ve heard about it so far, it kicks some serious ass.

Festivals

We are hitting up the following festivals this summer. If you’ve been to any of them, let us know how you like ‘em, and if you are going let us know.

We always accept free drinks

July 23, 2010 – Carnival of Madness (Shinedown, 10 Years, Sevendust, and more), Knoxville, TN
August 1st, 2010 – Mayhem Festival (KoRn, FFDP, Hatebreed, 3 Inches of Blood, and many more) Atlanta, GA
September 3, 2010 – Uproar Festival (Halestorm, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Hellyeah, Avenged Sevenfold, Airbourne, and more).

These three festivals are going to be absolutely insane. They all have their own amazing lineups and genres. If you can catch all 3 tours, I suggest doing it. But if you have to choose just one, Mayhem Fest is your in your face metal, Carnival of Madness is your alternative rock, and Uproar is a little in between. Like I said, all three tours are going to be amazing, and you’re missing out if you miss any of them. Hopefully we will see you guys there.

07.24.10 Update – just got back from the Carnival of Madness, and the event lived up to the name, and then some. For those of you I met in Knoxville, it was awesome meeting some other fans, photographers, and everyone else. I’ll have photos and reviews up this weekend. It was totally worth the three and a half hours of driving on three hours of sleep to see those five absolutely fantastic bands. If you can’t tell, the review is going to be somewhat positive.

Oh and to the chick I bumped into and almost knocked down the stairs, I’m sorry for running into you, it was an accident.
