4 Crispy Pakora Recipes to Try in Your Deep Fryer

Chicken Pakoras

Rinse chicken and pat it dry before cutting it into 1x1x1/2 inch pieces. In a bowl, take some refined flour, garlic salt, and pepper and coat the chicken pieces in this mixture. Add oil to your deep fryer and heat it to medium hot. In the meantime, make an egg mixture in one bowl and place some breadcrumbs in another. Once the oil is ideally heated, dip a piece of coated chicken first in the egg mixture and then roll it on to breadcrumbs and fry it till golden and crispy.

Mix Veg Pakoras

Peel and dice potatoes and onions. Take some cauliflower florets. Add to this half a teaspoon each of coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, fresh coriander leaves and salt as per taste. In another bowl, take 1 cup of gram flour, add salt and green chillies to it and make a smooth and thick batter by adding water slowly. Now, add the veggies to this mixture and coat them properly. Fry them in the deep fryer till crispy and enjoy with spicy coriander chutney.

Paneer Pakoras

Take 250 gm of cottage paneer and make small cubes of it. Add some salt, chillies, garam masala, and chaat masala to it and toss well. In another bowl, take 4 tbsp of refined flour and make a smooth and thick batter after adding salt and black pepper powder to it. Dip the paneer pieces in this batter and deep fry in the fryer. Serve it with tomato ketchup.

Shrimp Pakoras

To make this pakora, take some large shrimps, peeled and deveined.  In a separate bowl, make a mixture of water, corn starch, and eggs. Mix it well to get a smooth and even consistency. Place breadcrumbs in a plate. Next, dip the shrimps into the egg mixture first and then roll it on breadcrumbs. Repeat this process two times before putting the shrimps into the deep fryer to get a golden-brown colour.
