It looks like Roadrunner Records has closed some of their global offices, and laid off a lot of their employees. While not all of the staff of the closed offices are being laid off, some are reportedly being absorbed into Roadrunner’s parent company, Warner Music Group.

We already have Shiprocked and Barge to Hell, now it looks like there is a third cruise going on around the same time sponsored by the same brilliant minds that brought you Mayhem Fest.

We don’t have information on all of the bands playing, but so far we have: Lamb of God, Anthrax, Machine Head and Suicide Silence. More bands will be announced soon. Additionally, DJ Starscream (Slipknot’s Sid Wilson) and J-Devil (Korn’s Jonathan Davis) will be DJing during the cruise as well. Shawn “Clown” Crahan will also be hosting a film festival and doing a charity art show during the cruise as well.

Since Mayhem Fest has always had close ties with RoadRunner, and Sid and Clown are already scheduled to be on the ship, I wouldn’t be surprised if Slipknot was added to the bill, of course this is pure speculation on my part.

On April 17, 2012 the Devil’s Carnival rolled into Nashville, Tn. at the  Lime Light venue. Shane and myself had been talking about the show for over 3 weeks now as well as doing research and watching trailers to see what we would be expecting from the show. The trailers just gave us a small taste to what we experienced that night inside the Devil’s Carnival.

During the Q&A Session it was mentioned by Darrin Bousman that the Devil’s Carnival is the Anti-Glee … As a spectator I will give my impression of this comment and how I see the show if you continue to read on.
